How to Activate Office 2021

1. Go to:
https://setup.office.com/redeem
This is Microsoft’s official site to redeem your Office key.

2. Sign in with a Microsoft account
Yes, you need to sign in — but here’s the important part:

• Your product key is not tied to your Microsoft account.

• The sign-in is only used to securely download Office and verify your purchase.

You may see a message like:
“We’ll add your product key to your email address...”
→ Ignore that. The key stays independent and is not locked to your account.

3. Enter your 25-character product key
(Found inside your amazon messages)

4. Choose your country and language, then continue.

You’ll be asked to choose between 64-bit or 32-bit:

• Recommended: Choose 64-bit in most cases.

• Office 2021 only runs on Windows 10 and 11, and most modern computers support 64-bit.

• Choose 32-bit only if you're using an older computer that might not support 64-bit.

Click Download to begin.

5. Install Office 2021
Run the file you downloaded and let the setup finish.

6. Activate Office
After installation, you’ll be prompted to activate your product.

If you don’t see the activation prompt:

• Open Word

• Click Account in the bottom-left corner

• Then click Activate Product
